몇년 전에 한국에 요트를 타고 크루징 온 캐롤이 자신들의 근황을 페이스북을 통해서 보내왔기에 오늘 나도 내 배와 크루징에 대한 근황을 그들의 페이스북에 아래와 같이 썼다.

그러다 보니 제주도의 더스틴 교수에게도 보고해야겠기에 이 내용을 복사해둔다.

Dear Carol and Brian:

Good afternoon, from Seoul.
Thank you very much for the detailed update of what you and your boat are doing.
I wrote from my I-phone lengthy update, but somehow it was cut in the middle and I cannot find where even that is now.
So, I am writing my status.

Finally my new boat, Cascade a 1976 Alajuela 38, has arrived at Busan harbour about a month ago, and I transported her to SooYoungMan Yacht marina (on hard) where we first met.
I have her done minor repair in the bottom area and have AFP painted as well as grinding the electric earth plate and screw paint.
Then last week I lowered the boat to the water and moored her in the marina.
I registered her as a Korean vessel, and now in the process of getting safety inspection and apply for vessel radio station at the same time.
The mast is in, but stays have to be tuned which I will do this weekend I hope among other things.

I am trying to leave Busan around the end of June and go and stay in Namhae, which used to be an island between Tongyoung and YeoSoo where Expo is being exhibited, for the Summer.
I think I will spend leasurely time sailing and cruising her for the next few years in and around Korea, while keep my job and my pension upgraded.

Seeing captain Cho, I do not think I will leave by myself.^^
